At Proteme, we take our green business responsibility very seriously and strive day in and day out to provide environmentally friendly processes.
It is our responsibility to protect and maintain our environment at every stage of our products' life cycle, from development and production to use and consumption by the customer.
Together, let's aim to protect and improve our environment for a green and sustainable society and economy!

A problem
The transition of our production methods engaged in France for many years now is gradually accelerating to move towards a more responsible and sustainable consumption. The collective awareness of the urgency to rethink our agriculture is now supported by Europe, which is legislating to gradually eliminate substances that are harmful to health and the environment.
This positive dynamic can sometimes lead to a perverse effect where the producer can only resort to an increasingly limited number of authorized substances while sustainable alternatives are slow to emerge. This paradoxical situation hinders the actors of the sector from converting to more sustainable production methods but also more sensitive to climatic hazards and conservation problems.
Convinced that "ecologically intensive agriculture" is the only possible future capable of meeting the growing demands of sustainability and supply, Proteme has challenged itself to bring an additional solution to producers.
A solution
We are committed to responding to current environmental and societal issues. This is why we have developed a sustainable and eco-responsible food coating solution, Prosane©, which aims to protect and extend the fruits’ and vegetables’ shelf life.
Our food coating is part of a strong ecological approach through its eco-design based on co-products from organic farming and its 100% edible aspect. It stands out for its simplicity and all its active properties.
In addition, Prosane© preserves your fruits and vegetables, without denaturing them: you can therefore continue to enjoy them without moderation!
By being part of a circular economy dynamic, our entire production process is designed in view of limiting its impact on the environment.
